Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The nurse will work in a progressive care unit that operates similarly to a telemetry unit. The nurse's patient-to-nurse ratio will range from 1:5 to 1:6. Weekend coverage will include two shifts every other weekend. The shift schedule will be three 12-hour night shifts. The role requires the management of cardiac patients and telemetry monitoring.
Daily census for the unit averages 27 patients. The nurse will float within the service line as needed. Candidates with previous charge experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage non-invasive airway support. The facility does not allow local candidates within a 75-mile radius. Candidates are required to meet compliance deadlines prior to starting the role.
