Location: St. Louis
Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for assessing, managing, directing, and providing nursing care during a patient’s hospital stay, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and delivering patient/customer‑driven care.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data, patient diagnoses, lab results, and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate daily care plans and provide accurate handoff communication reports.
- Administer medications, monitor IV fluids and parenteral nutrition, and document interventions accurately.
- Educate patients and families and facilitate discharge planning.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards; report deviations and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Apply specialized care protocols when indicated (e.g., restraint use, pain management, abuse assessment).
- Maintain professional practice standards, pursue continuing education, and stay current with hospital policies and evidence‑based practices.
- Provide age‑appropriate care across the adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri.
- Valid Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS HCP) certificate and other required certifications (e.g., Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as applicable.
- Experience in acute or med‑surg nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, infection control, and patient safety.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Schedule:
Days, 7 am – 7 pm. - Benefits:
