Registered Nurse (RN) – Vascular Access

• Perform intravenous (IV) insertions and ultrasound-guided vascular access device placement (peripheral IVs, midlines, PICC lines).
• Assess, maintain, and troubleshoot vascular access devices, including restoring catheter patency and addressing mechanical or positional issues.
• Document and communicate care plans, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and provide patient and family education on post-treatment care.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participate in professional development.
• Maintain vigilant safety practices in a safety‑sensitive environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing
• No prior experience required

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Less than 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access
• Experience with central line placement and maintenance
