- Required Certifications & Skills
- Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Antihypertensives, Antepartum, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Drawing Venous Blood, Labor & Delivery, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Starting and maintaining IVs, Terbutaline, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- Licensure
