Neurosurgery Student Nurse Tech; SNT - PRN

Provides multi‑skilled, direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. This position requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent (fundamentals, foundations, or adult/pediatric health).

• Assist nurse with patient and family education.
• Document all patient care activities with correct medical terminology.
• Act as a 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient’s needs.
• Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team.
• Collect clinical data and information on patients and report abnormal findings to the nurse.
• Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN nursing school program.
• Completed nursing fundamentals or equivalent course.
• Minimum of two shifts every six weeks – rotating.
• Holiday rotation eligibility.
• Enrolled in an accredited RN program.
• No prior experience required.

• Enrolled in an accredited BSN program.
• Any additional preferred education or experience as noted in the role.
