Job Overview

Under the direction of an RN or LPN, the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists with individualized patient care to help patients achieve their highest level of wellness. The PCA is an essential member of the care team, performing both clinical procedures and non‑clinical support tasks in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

• Assist RN or LPN with patient care activities.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non‑clinical support tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet group goals.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• PCA competencies completed within 3 months.

• 175‑hour, Department of Health and Senior Services–approved training program during new hire orientation (must be completed within 90 days).
• Accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program offering credentials.
