Travel Nurse - Stepdown

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown to provide specialized patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, preparing equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort. The RN assesses patient conditions, responds to emergencies, documents care, and educates patients on cardiac health.

• Key duties involve cardiac monitoring, medication administration, patient assessment, emergency response, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Requirements include at least one year of recent stepdown experience, a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred qualifications include PCCN and NIHSS certifications.
• Essential skills encompass critical thinking, interpersonal communication, physical stamina, technical dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure.
