Position: Med/Surg Nurse (RN or LPN) — Sign-On & Growth Path
Location: St. Louis

Mercy Hospital St. Louis

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Full‑time or Part‑time. Day Shift or Night Shift.

Benefits
  • Up to $10,000 sign‑on incentive for RNs (no contract)
  • Up to $2,000 sign‑on incentive for LPNs (no contract)
  • Health, dental & vision benefits starting day one

  • Shift Differential Pay:
    Nights, Weekends (add Days only if applicable)
  • Stay Pay Program – $2/hr on productive time (24/7 bedside eligible) at 2, 5, 10, and 20 years (up to $8/hr)
  • LPN → RN Bridge Program assistance
  • RN → BSN Bridge Program (up to $16,000)
  • Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education
  • PTO begins accruing immediately (including a volunteer day!)
Qualifications
  • Required

    Education:

    Nursing degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred.
  • License:
    Current RN license (or temporary permit) in the State of Missouri.
  • Certification:
    Basic Life Support (CPR) through the American Heart Association.
LPN Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Preferred Experience:

    At least 1 year of LPN experience.
  • Licensure:
    Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state where nursing duties are performed.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
    • LPN-IV Certification completed or achieved within 3 months of hire.
