Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Orthopedics
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed providers or a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for patient care, coordinates with other departments, and protects patient rights and confidentiality.

ScheduleFull‑Time | 36 hours/week
ShiftDay Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sign‑On BonusUp to $2,000 for part‑time and full‑time caregivers
OverviewProvides patient care under licensed supervision, maintains accountability, coordinates care, and upholds confidentiality. Performs duties in line with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements; comparable experience and licensure may be considered
- Experience: New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire); LPN‑IV certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking; significant bending, stooping, patient lifting/turning with assistance; ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
