Travel Nurse opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a Magnet & Teaching Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

• Shift: Nights – 4 days x 12 hours
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a high‑acuity CVICU setting.
• Manage and monitor advanced cardiovascular equipment, including arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheter, IABP, LVAD/Impella, and central venous access.
• Administer vasoactive drugs, blood product transfusions, and continuous IV sedation or paralytics as indicated.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies – arrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, and post‑cardiac arrest care.
• Utilize Epic clinical system for documentation and charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and support rapid response when needed.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or a valid compact license.
• Minimum 2 years of documented experience in Cardiac/CVICU or ICU settings.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with advanced cardiovascular interventions: arterial line management, pulmonary artery line monitoring, IABP, LVAD/Impella, and central venous access.
• Ability to pass the Relias ECG exam prior to assignment.
• Documented ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Compliance with all travel nurse regulations, including RTO and licensing requirements.
