Description
Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting. TAUC is the leading urgent care provider in the Greater St. Louis community, delivering care since 2008. - Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
- Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
- Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration
- Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
- Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Physicians
- Work with an energetic, highly-trained support team, including many shifts with a scribe
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Family Nurse Practitioner
- Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
- Experience with reading diagnostics studies, including X-rays and EKGs
- 2+ years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred
- ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
