Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

We are looking for an RN with recent acute care experience to support women before, during, and after delivery. The role involves assisting physicians with epidurals, pain management, episiotomies, and cesarean preparation, as well as providing newborn care.

• Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids expelled before and after the birthing process.
• Aid the physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care for newborns.

• 3 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds easily, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
