Job Description
Support 3 locations, Part Time/3-8 hours shifts per week. Previous Pediatric and/or Hem/Onc experience preferred. 2+ years of acute care experience preferred. Great team and work environment.

- Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care standards.
- Promote patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
- Educate patients and their families on managing illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care needs and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Engage in professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individual care plans with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team members and patients, families, or caregivers, in accordance with established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
- Proactively plan and ensure communication of the care plan across the continuum of care.
- Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
- Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
- Maintain constant state of alertness and conduct work in a safe manner as this is a safety‑sensitive position.
- Education:
Nursing Diploma/Associate’s – No prior experience required; RN license required. - Experience:
None required for supervisory or nursing positions; < 2 years of nursing experience preferred. - Preferred education:
Bachelor’s Degree – Nursing, < 2 years experience preferred.
