RN - Regional Float Pool - Emergency Dept Nights - Mercy St Louis

Position Overview

Find your calling at Mercy! The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients. The Regional Resource RN will float between the designated East Community Mercy Hospital facilities.

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 – No Contract Base Pay (Determined by Experience)
• Regional Float Pool Differential: $15.00 + $2.75/Evenings, $4.60/Nights, $1.50/Weekends
• Stay Premium Program:
  Active after 2 years with Mercy – Up to $8/hour based on years of Mercy service

• Education –
  
  Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Education – Preferred: BSN.
• Licensure: Obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state or compact license; meet all state board requirements.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience, with at least six months recent.
• Preferred Experience: Epic system experience.
• Certifications (must have to start): BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, MANDT (within 90 days of hire).
• Physical Requirements: Stand/Walk most of the time; significant bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
