Three (3) 12‑hour shifts per week.

• 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Weekend rotation: every 5th weekend.

Holiday rotation: 1 holiday per year.

No nights, no call.

• Collaborate with emergency physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emergent conditions, contributing to department efficiency, throughput, and quality outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/implement treatment plans for patients across all acuity levels.
• Carry out procedures within scope (e.g., laceration repair, incision & drainage, splinting).
• Rapidly interpret diagnostic results and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Provide patient and family education, including discharge instructions.

• Ability to manage high‑acuity and undifferentiated clinical environments.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑paced setting.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program.
• NPs should hold Acute Care or Emergency Medicine certifications.
• Ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in Missouri.
