Location: St. Louis
Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers
Location: 9560 Watson Road, Suite J, Crestwood, MO 63126
Shift: Days (Monday‑Friday)
Responsibilities- Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy.
- Complete the admission process as directed by the Center Director.
- Perform physical assessments on each patient and refer for complete assessment when needed.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
- Report significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on identified problems.
- Communicate effectively with IV team members regarding patient status and observations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and document findings.
- Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans.
- Participate in the Quality Improvement program.
- Ensure that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.
- Participate in the On‑Call program, which may include after‑hours, weekend, and holiday calls and visits.
- Provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and support new market launches.
- Travel to work sites and other locations as necessary.
- MS in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with IVs required.
- Current, active, and unrestricted NP license in the applicable state.
- Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Multi‑state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
- Healthcare experience with IVs preferred.
- 2+ years of IV experience preferred.
- Experience with Port, PICC, and peripheral lines preferred.
- Medication mixing experience preferred.
- Titration experience preferred.
