Role Overview
The registered nurse provides direct patient care in a busy PACU setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards. Qualifications & Skills- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred, with RN license.
- Critical care or procedural experience preferred; no experience required for entry.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety awareness.
- Assist pre-op staff during night shifts and participate in patient care activities.
- Develop and document care plans, ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Educate patients and families about illness management, post-care needs, and medication.
- Contribute to a healing environment, emphasizing safety, quality, and compliance.
