Role and Responsibilities:
This Clinical Nurse role involves providing direct patient care in a specialized transplant and hepatobiliary unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in quality, safety, and regulatory activities. Developing and communicating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team is essential, along with assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
The position requires working in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety as priorities.
Applicants should have a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and preferably less than 2 years of experience. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Inpatient experience is a plus, and strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills are necessary.
