Clinical Nurse Risk Cardiology; Day Shift

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedural care.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on managing illness, medications, and post-treatment needs.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Participate in professional development and ensure effective communication across care continuum.

• RN license required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training are valued.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness.
