GI Lab - Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a specialized endoscopy department, performing assessments, diagnoses, planning, and evaluations according to nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities: Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and communicates effectively across care settings. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires RN licensure, a nursing diploma or associate’s degree, and preferably a bachelor’s degree with less than two years of experience. ED or ICU experience is preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills are essential.

Additional Information: The role involves working weekdays with call requirements 2-3 nights and every 10th weekend. The position is safety-sensitive, demanding alertness and safe work practices.
