Inpatient Surgical; RN; PT; Nights

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care on a 68-bed surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.

• Develops and documents individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ensures effective communication of care plans across the continuum.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs, addressing patient preferences and barriers.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities, while engaging in professional development.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety standards.

• RN license required; nursing diploma or associate's degree necessary, bachelor’s preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.
• Prior supervisory experience is not necessary.
