Acute Care Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting within a 25-bed unit, managing patients with complex medical conditions.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with an interprofessional team.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

• RN license required;
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree in nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Critical thinking, patient education, collaboration, communication, and adherence to standards of nursing care.
