Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

Position Overview

A compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU). The role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with complex cardiac conditions requiring continuous monitoring and specialized nursing support. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments accurately, monitors cardiac rhythms and vital signs, and educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.

Accurate documentation and participation in quality improvement initiatives are essential to uphold safety and excellence in care, supporting a healing environment aligned with organizational values.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred experience in cardiac, telemetry, PCU, or critical care nursing.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale are advantageous.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
