The Lead House Supervisor at Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a nursing leadership role responsible for leading the Float Pool team and supporting safe staffing, patient throughput, and operational excellence across the hospital. This position oversees approximately 25–40 Float Pool Registered Nurses (RNs) and Patient Care Technicians and is accountable for caregiver development, team engagement, performance management, and operational effectiveness. The Lead House Supervisor partners with nursing and operational leaders to support workforce planning, staffing coordination, and patient flow initiatives that help ensure exceptional care and an outstanding experience for both patients and caregivers. The primary schedule is days with flexibility to connect with team members across shifts. This full-time exempt position also includes periodic House Supervisor and bed management coverage, providing valuable experience in hospital operations and patient flow management.

- Lead approximately 25–40 Float Pool RNs and Patient Care Technicians

- One weekend day every six weeks

- Current RN licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in an acute care setting
- Experience as a Charge Nurse, Team Lead, House Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong communication, collaboration, and operational leadership skills

The Nursing Office at Missouri Baptist Medical Center supports the scheduling and placement of central staffing resources throughout the hospital. Additionally, the Nursing Office team provides guidance and communication to all nursing and ancillary staff as directed by senior nursing leadership.
Preferred Qualifications Role PurposeSupports the Clinical Manager in the delivery of safe, appropriate, age specific, cost effective patient care, as well as oversees the activities of the House Supervisors.
