We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN to provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general inpatient units.
Responsibilities include: monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, preparing equipment for cardiac procedures, observing patient conditions, responding to emergencies, documenting assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications required: at least one year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
Preferred qualifications: PCCN or NIHSS certifications, additional licenses may be required.
Skills needed: critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to move equipment, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
