Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED) | Mercy St. Louis

Join the Emergency Department at Mercy St. Louis, where experienced nurses thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that demands strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork. As a member of our ED team, you’ll care for a diverse patient population ranging from minor illnesses and injuries to complex medical emergencies, trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical care cases.

The Emergency Department offers experienced nurses the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, utilizing advanced assessment skills and evidence-based interventions to deliver timely, life-saving care. Working alongside emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams, ED nurses play a vital role in rapid decision-making, patient stabilization, and care coordination across the continuum.

Part Time Shifts Available:

Two 8-hour shifts - 7a-3p, 11a-7p, 3p-11p, 7p-3a, 11p-7a

Two 12-hour shifts - 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a

Our campus features:

• Adult ER with dedicated triage & waiting areas + 20+ treatment rooms

If you’re looking for high-acuity experience and a mission-driven culture, this is the place to grow.

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact)
• Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements

• BLS (AHA) required - or completed within 30 days of hire
