Missouri Baptist Medical Center is offering a part-time position for a pre-op/post-op/PACU nurse. The schedule includes Saturday 6:00A-6:00P and one 12 hour shift during the week, with two weeknight call shifts every six weeks and one weekend call every nine weeks. Pre/post or critical care experience is preferred. The role involves working in pre/post-op, outpatient recovery, and interventional pulmonology across 23 operating rooms.

The Surgical Services department at Missouri Baptist Medical Center includes 22 ORs, three heart team rooms, and the da Vinci robotic surgical system.
The role purpose is to provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients and their families, participating in activities that promote patient safety and quality, developing and implementing individual plans of care, and using critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
Minimum requirements include a nursing diploma or associate's degree and no experience or supervisor experience. Licenses and certifications required include RN. Preferred requirements include a bachelor's degree in nursing and less than two years of experience.
