What You’ll Do

Provide first assist support in adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and ascending aortic procedures
Assist with procedures such as sternotomies, chest tube, and pacing wire placements
Support mechanical circulatory support procedures including Impella, ECMO cannulation, and IABP exposure
Participate in endoscopic vein harvesting and other perioperative activities
Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and procedural success
Document procedures accurately in Epic EMR system

What You Need
Required:

Missouri RN license
Board certification in relevant specialty
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

Preferred:

RNFA certification
