About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110!

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description:

Yes, 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned

Special Requirements :
*** Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required***- Patient Diagnoses:
Ischemic strokes (post-thrombectomy, post-tPA), neuromuscular disorders, seizure disorders, CNS infections, hemorrhagic strokes, subdural/epidural hematomas, ICP monitoring (EVDs/bolts), neurotrauma (GSW,MVC, spinal cord injuries)- Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Vasoactive medications, Central line/Arterial line management, ICP monitoringCRRT , hypothermia/hyperthermia management, Spinal precautions
- Special Equipment: EVD, bolt
- Will complete 10 hours of stroke education total (NIHSS can satisfy 3 hours of the 10 hours of stroke education if taken in the year, New provider or renewal ACLS provides points if taken in the year) - will complete during orientation

If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location.
