What You'll Do
- Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic procedures
- Support surgical team during complex procedures such as dissections, redo sternotomies, and mechanical circulatory support
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and chest tube placement
- Assist with intraoperative patient management
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Document care using Epic EMR system
What You Need
- Valid Missouri RN license
- BLS certification; RNFA preferred
- Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac OR first assist experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic procedures and equipment
- Ability to work night shifts and handle a rotating call schedule
