The RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator expertly balances direct provider support and patient care during ambulatory sessions with critical care coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical Triage:
Managing patient calls and ordering outpatient testing. - Advocacy:
Facilitating care team communication and patient education. - Efficiency:
Navigating complex patient care workflows and tasks within Epic.
The role operates within a robust, collaborative multidisciplinary group consisting of 12 Faculty, 4 Fellows, 9 NPs, 6 RNs, and a robust clinical support team. In this team-oriented environment, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator's expertise is both valued and vital. To meet the needs of a growing patient population, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator supports several prestigious regional locations, including St. Louis Children's Hospital (SLCH), Children's Specialty Care Centers (West and South), Graham Road, and Shiloh, IL.
