Oncology/Chemo experience required. Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required. Floating is required throughout the Oncology department as needed and will be floated to unit with greatest needed per shift. Will not always be working specifically on 9800 unit. Ratio- 4:1 for all shifts. Avg. Daily Census: 30 Beds/Rooms: 32. Every other weekend required. Auto stem cell transplants.
Chemotherapy administration ONS/ONCC, ACLS, BCLS required. Chemo cert required. 1 year experience required. Will accept first time travelers.
Required Skills:
Oncology experience required, Administration of chemotherapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antibiotics, Antiemetics, Foley catheter insertion/management, Isolation Precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring.
