Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Position offers a telemetry/step-down specialty. Start date is approximately 3-4 weeks from acceptance. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5. Every other weekend coverage is required. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. On-call requirement is not applicable. Clinicians are expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Block schedule accommodation is not available. Local candidates will not be accepted within a 75-mile radius.

Requires no more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract. Special procedures include cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and echocardiograms. Daily patient census averages 32. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized teams such as physical therapy and rapid response. The patient population typically includes adults with cardiac conditions. Skills required include managing cardiac telemetry, administering blood products, and interpreting dysrhythmias.

All travelers will float within their service line. Compliance requirements must be met prior to the start date. Candidates are expected to fulfill the terms of the signed agreement in full.
