Registered Nurse

Position is for telemetry and step-down care. The start date is 3-4 weeks out. Patient ratios are 1:4-5. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Availability for block scheduling is not accepted. There are no local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius. Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract.

Special requirements include telemetry and step-down experience. Unit details include a daily census of 32 patients. Interdisciplinary support available includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient diagnoses may include CHF, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndrome, heart valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Special procedures and equipment include cardiac catheterization, echocardiogram, and cardioversion. All travelers must float within the service line.
