Unit is an outpatient department consisting of 8 treatment chairs where we see the majority of our patients from . There is a provider on site 24/7. Care can include chemotherapy, antibiotics, fluids, injections, blood transfusions, etc.

Unit also has 7 private rooms/beds for isolation patients and evaluations to be done by the provider, with assistance of RN and PCT. Evaluations are for Hematologic malignancy patients, Med Onc patients and Gyn Onc patients. These evaluation patients are treated in our department (outpatient) and are then either discharged home post treatment, or admitted.

Patients can be held in our department for over 24 hours awaiting an inpatient bed. Overnight hours consist of finishing up infusion room treatments, and managing evaluations through the night.
