Critical Care RN Position
Position:
Critical care RN for procedural pre and post Monday-Friday. This is for endo and IR pts. No weekends, no holiday, no call. Average daily census: 70-90. Rooms: 38. Years of experience required:

None. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.
Skills required:
Epic, critical care experience, inpatient, level I trauma center, phase I PACU, dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, care of ventilated patients. Surgical patients we recover include: neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant. We do not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants. Unit has own PCT/transport team.
Unit open 24/7. Consists of 38 patient bays. Staff needed for recovery of vast array of acute post op patients. Critical care experience required as some patients require artificial airways, invasive monitoring (including ICP), transfusions, and vasoactive drugs.
