Description:
The RN will work as a circulator in the diagnostic and interventional PCI environment.
The RN will provide conscious sedation under the direction of the attending physician.
Responsibilities include handing off sterile supplies, assessing vitals, and documenting in the designated electronic health record system.
There will be opportunities to cross-train to handle hemodynamics in the monitor tech role.
Candidates must have experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
Experience with common patient diagnoses such as AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, Afib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome is required.
This position requires participation in rotating call, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Floating within the service line to meet facility needs is required.
Travelers are not accepted from local areas within a certain radius.
All candidates must be able to work every other weekend.
Completion of an EKG exam is mandatory for compliance.
The role may involve interacting with interdisciplinary support teams such as IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy.
The candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with high patient acuity.
All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission.
New requests for time off after submission will not be accepted.
No time off will be allowed during the first week of the assignment.
Candidates must adhere to compliance deadlines.
