We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor to support our growing Pediatric Private Duty Nursing team.

This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys mentoring nurses, coordinating exceptional patient care, and building strong relationships with families. While pediatric home health experience is strongly preferred, we are also excited to meet motivated nurses who have a strong clinical background and are eager to learn pediatric home care. Job Summary

The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical care provided to home health patients while ensuring compliance with physician orders, state and federal regulations, and company standards.

This leader serves as a clinical resource for field staff, provides education and mentorship to nurses, assists with orientation, onboarding and competency development, and partners with physicians, families, as well as interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

The Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining quality of care while supporting the continued growth of our Private Duty Nursing program.

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, G‑tubes, or medically complex pediatric patients is highly preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to mentor and educate nursing staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks, manage competing priorities, and ensure timely follow‑through.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the clinical performance of field nursing staff.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, patients, and families.
  • Conduct nursing orientations, competency assessments, and ongoing education.
  • Review physician orders, care plans, and clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in patient admissions, recertifications, and care coordination as needed.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and ensure high‑quality clinical care.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and community partners.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.
  • Participate in patient case conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in developing and updating clinical policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and address clinical concerns, incidents, and patient complaints.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support quality patient care.
