Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care with surgical team in collaboration with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both

Cardiothoracic Surgery

and

Vascular Surgery , working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

Open heart and vascular procedures

Minimally invasive surgeries

Robotic cardiothoracic procedures

Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries

• Required:
  
  Strongly prefer one year of RN experience
  
  Nursing degree from an accredited schoolCurrent
• Missouri RN licenseBLS certification

• OR nurse with experience in a surgical setting
  
  Interest in cardiovascular and vascular specialties
  
  Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  
  Team-oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills
  
  Interested in expanding skills in both circulating and scrub roles
