Role: Infection Control Nurse responsible for ensuring patient, employee, and visitor safety by minimizing infection risks.
Responsibilities- Conduct ongoing surveillance to detect Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI).
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Support programs to protect against infectious diseases.
- Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee to develop intervention strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field;
Master's preferred. - RN license required; CIC certification preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience; 5-10 years for preferred qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention, surveillance, data analysis, and presentation skills (MS Office experience a plus).
Monitoring infections, ensuring compliance, supporting infection prevention programs, and working with teams to reduce healthcare-associated infections.
