Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, travel experience required, telemetry/step-down experience required, certifications: ACLS, BLS, experience with cardiac telemetry and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation, EMR: EPIC
Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitor patients in telemetry and step-down units, assessing vital signs and clinical status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients. Educate patients and families on medical procedures and post-care instructions. Respond to acute changes in patient conditions, implementing rapid response protocols as necessary.
Compliance / Notes:
Maximum 7 days of RTO (no RTO allowed first week), local rule: no local candidates within a 75-mile radius, COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed), orientation: 24 hours
