Minimum 2 years in cardiac surgery, trauma Level I experience preferred
- Hourly pay: $134.00
- Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

- Manage adult cardiac surgery patients in a high-acuity stepdown setting, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic procedures
- Support pre- and post-operative patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, volume status, electrolyte abnormalities, and infection surveillance
- Handle chest tube removal, drain management, wound care, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams for efficient patient care and timely escalation of clinical deterioration
- Document patient progress in EPIC and Sectra digital systems
- Missouri RN/PA license with active privileges
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac surgery or trauma experience
- Proficiency in inpatient management of complex cardiac patients and advanced procedures
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
Support the cardiac surgery stepdown unit at a leading facility in St. Louis, MO. The role requires an autonomous, experienced NP/PA skilled in managing complex cardiac cases, working closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The assignment promises a dynamic, high-stakes environment with ongoing coverage from September 2026 through March 2027.
