Schedule:

Shift: 4x10s nights (2030–0700); rotating start times as needed

Requirements:

• 2 years CVOR experience required; may consider 1 year if at a Level I trauma facility
• Heart and lung transplant experience required for night shift
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in scrub/circulate for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases required
• Familiarity with Epic as the charting system

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in the cardiovascular operating room for cardiac and thoracic cases.
• Assist with vascular open and endovascular procedures.
• Participate in transplant surgeries and Whipple procedures as needed.
• Respond rapidly for emergent cases and set up quickly for surgeries.

Compliance / Notes:

• Call:
  Approximately 3–4 weekday/weeknight and 1–2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule; may vary by unit need.
• Weekend coverage required per call policy.
• Max 7 days of RTO (Request Time Off); no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment.
• Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing if required.
• Modules required to be completed prior to start.
