CVICU and Transplant RN - Nights

Role

The Registered Nurse assesses, manages, and provides patient care during hospitalization, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams using a patient-centered approach.

Conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, and documents care activities. Provides patient and family education, ensures safety and infection control, and recognizes changes in patient condition for timely intervention. Offers specialized care such as pain management, restraint use, and abuse assessment. Communicates effectively, collaborates with team members, and maintains high standards of service and quality improvement.

Ensures age-appropriate care and promotes a respectful, compassionate environment.

Must be a licensed RN in the relevant state, with certifications in BLS and adherence to safety, infection control, and professional standards. Demonstrates technical competence, adaptability, teamwork, and strong communication skills. Maintains professionalism, respects patient dignity, and commits to ongoing education and quality initiatives.
