RN Nurse, Staff Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN) – General Surgery 3W
Location:
Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule:
Part time | 24 hours/week
Shift: Days 7:00pm - 7:00am
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
QualificationsEducation:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certification:
- Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisor experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
