This Med Surg travel nurse job in St. Louis, Missouri, with Advantis Medical is a 16-week Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Barnes
- Jewish Hospital. This role pays $2,031 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule. As the Med Surg registered nurse on this assignment, you'll prioritize care across a varied medical-surgical caseload, administer ordered medications and treatments, educate patients and families, and manage admissions, discharges, and safe care transitions.

ResponsibilitiesManage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned
Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team
Travel Med Surg Requirements:2+ years of recent Med Surg experience.
Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Missouri and national regulatory bodies.
