Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves working in a high-volume, high-acuity procedural environment, specializing in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in electrophysiology.

The position requires rotating shifts, and candidates must be available for on‑call responsibilities.

    Required:

    Two years of clinical experience with a minimum of one year in electrophysiology;
    Level 1 trauma experience and high-volume/high-acuity cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
  • Certifications:

    ACLS and BLS required; pending license accepted.
  • Schedule:

    4x10-hour rotating shifts from , with late and close shifts as needed, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Required Qualifications:

    MO or Illinois license, two years of cath lab experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, experience with high volume/high acuity cardiac procedures, and working in a trauma level 1 environment.
  • Special Procedures and

    Skills:

    Angioplasty, ASD closures, cardiac implant devices, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, electrophysiology lab skills, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, angiography, valvuloplasty, Watchman procedure, and STEMI procedures.
  • Additional Information:
    Candidates will provide conscious sedation, handle sterile supplies, assess vitals, and document in EPIC. Cross-training in hemodynamics may be required. Must adhere to RTO (maximum of 7 days), and floating within scope to meet unit needs is mandatory.
