Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule:

Weekend requirement: every other weekend (EOW). On-call: required. Shift pattern to be confirmed at the time of submittal.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 or 20 weeks. Guaranteed

Hours:

36 hours per week.

Requirements:

Required experience:

2 years RN. License:
Must hold a valid nursing license (pending licenses accepted with state-specific rules).

Certifications:

BCLS (BLS) required; ACLS required for specific locations. EMR:
Experience with Epic required. Preferred clinical experience:
Med-surg and post-op orthopedic or plastics.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide coordinated, patient-centered care in a medical/surgical setting. Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and responses to treatments. Administer medications and manage surgical drains as per protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes:
Maximum RTO: 7 days; no RTO allowed first week of assignment. Free employee parking available. Scrub color: navy (top, jacket & bottom). Compliance documentation due by 3 pm CST on Monday before the start week.
