Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Emergency Room

Role Overview: Provides direct pediatric emergency care in a trauma-designated department, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
• Maintains safety-sensitive work practices, working with constant alertness to ensure safety and quality care.

• Required:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree and RN licensure.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• Experience in emergency or pediatric acute care is preferred but not mandatory.
