Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Stepdown, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, ensuring care aligns with organizational standards and values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs
- Evaluate and oversee the care provided by other caregivers
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld
- Perform duties consistent with organizational mission and standards
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Preferred prior hospital or specialty experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties including reaching, bending, and kneeling
